What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour: Red & black dome, like a Chinese Wock upside down. Colours oscillating from red to black. Was seen from approxiamtely 100 feet away. Estimated to be about 30-40 feet in diameter. About as tall as a single story home.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly: It was on the ground. When I approached the object, it started sparking like fire crackers around the base of object. Crackles got faster and more violent, then three blue pulsating beams shot out from the top of it, in three different directions into the night sky.

Any additional comments: It put the wind up on me, and I ran off. Jumped into car. Next day I returned back to sight, and nothing was there. Grass was pushed down and a circular fashion.
