Name: Sparkler
Date of Sighting: October 22, 2019
Location of Sighting: Petaluma CA just miles from Lucchesi Park.
Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): One, a bright white flash in the sky illuminating white smoke from what appeared to have been an explosion. The thing fell, with a green glow illuminating more smoke behind it. It suddenly extinguished its lights entirely after falling for a couple of seconds.
Distance of UFO(s) in sky: No more than a couple of miles, it was below cloud level.
Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Down towards the ground – it fell.
Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): There were at least four planes in the sky minutes after the object fell, three at great heights, one flying low (likely just a local one, and unrelated to the incident).
Further Description of Sighting: The glow and motion of the object were reminiscent of a sparkler, the kind you wave around on the fourth of July. But this was clearly an explosion, and made no sound at all.
