Further Description of Sighting:
) This is similar to what me and two
_) others saw that night. We were
__) near an Airport so we had a lot
___) to compare to.
____) There were 9 lights in the most
___) perfect triangle. At first it did
__) not seem too high. The lights
_) were likened to LED lights, not a
) typical incandescent that shoots
light in every direction; they seemed to be ‘slits’ moving forward.
The two end lights on each side seemed to dance back and forth, almost digitally, with each other while this perfect, silent triangle shot across the sky faster than any plane I have ever seen. There were no blinking/ red/ green marking lights either, just a fast steady triangle.
It must have been extremely high in the sky because there was absolutely NO sound. However we observed other planes(with lots of noise) that were very low and did not travel across the horizon nearly as fast as this high flying object did; probably 4-5 seconds total visual then disappeared into the distance. Whereas any plane is in site for at least 20 seconds..
About 20 min later we were glued to the sky and saw two more ‘slits’ leap-frogging, for lack of a better term, each other in a similar direction. They were the same exact type of lights but now just two.. again no sound or marker lights. They seemed to be playing or jockeying for position..
I really don’t think it was a shooting star because I’ve seen them before and they move a lot quicker.. just a quick flash across the sky. Military? maybe the triangle ship.. but have no idea what the pair of lights could be. They were certainly two separate objects.
Could not be exactly sure how high they were, or if the lights were all separate entities or one object in the triangle, but as an avid sky/star watcher, I’ve never seen something that I was at a loss of words for.
It was unreal..
