Message: Look, firstly, I’m level headed guy with a great paying job, responsible father, and known by many in my community. I have no reason to make this up. I’m not looking for attention… At approximately 7pm on the 23 of January, my Dad called me from the road traveling North on South 18th st. in Lafayete. He witnessed yellowish orange lights in the eastern sky. He pulled his car over to the side of the road and got out to get a better look.

Basically, he called me to get confirmation that what he was seeing was real and wanted someone else to witness the event. I was at home. I live in a sub-division in West Lafayette near W52. My sub-division is relatively new, so there are no street lights to obstruct my view…all I see is open sky. I stepped out on my patio and looked around towards the south-southeastern sky. I have to admit, I was reluctant, and didn’t believe what my own father was telling me.

I stood on the patio for 2 minutes with nothing to confirm, then out of nowhere, a bright light came down at an angle, then zipped back up at a 45 degree angle and stopped as if it was hovering. 2 seconds later, another yellowish orange light appeared to the bottom left of the first, then another that flickered for a second then became as brilliant as the other two lights. I WAS STUNNED!! They just hovered there for about 3 seconds then literally disappeared!

I live about 3 miles form Purdue Airport and typically there is some traffic from small commuter planes. Honestly, the way this thing/things moved, it was not a plane. My Dad called me again and left a v-mail saying he was following the lights the best he could to see exactely what it was only to loose the lights near the Tippecanoe Mall area. He described them as appearing and disappearing, moving at a high rate of speed. At 7:20pm, I left my home to get a bite to eat.

It was extremely cold that night so I wasn’t expecting anyone to be walking around who may have witnessed the lights. But, there were alot of cars on the road. I find it hard to believe that no one else saw this and I’m looking for confirmation that what I saw was real. Someone who I don’t know. I called the local authorities and asked if anyone had made a report and they said no. I also called WLFI and they didn’t hear of anything either. I’m very skeptical about alot of things.

This has somewhat changed me and I wished it didn’t happen. If anyone out there has witnessed this, please post a comment here.

Owings Mills/Reisterstown, Maryland, USA; 1975

Name: Andrew Neal

Date of Event: need help?? ..same experience 30+ yrs. ago as a recent post. would love to get in touch with them or visa versa. Below is more detail and my contact info. I did post a reply this evening, 6-10-2008.

Location of Event: Owings Mills/Reisterstown Maryland

Webmaster Note: This post is a couple messages sent by one individual that I glued together. Along with a quoted posting, that relates to this person’s sighting. Different time frame, same area, same type of sighting. He would like to be contacted by people with additional info relating to this. So I have included an email address he has requested info to be sent to. So, good luck Andrew. I hope this helps.

Message: Lou,

Can you help put me in touch with the below or pass along my email?? Believe this area may have reoccurring UFO visits on a large scale. Seems like the same exact thing we witnessed in 1975. Same location, same direction, 100’s of crafts, silent, clearly visible, some solo some in uniform clusters over 30 minutes or so.

Gotta get in touch so I can figure out exactly what and where they saw & if it was another event from the same crafts we saw 30+ yrs ago.

Thanks Lou. Never thought I’d run into others that saw this in the same area. I had a dream the other night about it and decided to go online and do some searching. Got the chills now.

The other folks account was nearly identical, some 30+ yrs later. I’m temped to try and get a camera over in that area facing the sky. If this is happening on a regular basis, which it appears may be the case, to see 100’s of globe or halo style orbs in a 30 minutes period, would be some of the best footage to date. What we saw back then was tons of these things, some solo some in symmetrical groups. Maybe this area of Maryland is a gateway to where these craft enter or leave earths’ atmosphere. It’s occurred at least 2x from my account and the other folks account. My guess many other times.

Someone should get a camera out there.

UFO Sighting: Owings Mills, Maryland; January 1, 2008

Location of Event: Owings Mills, Maryland

Message: Did anyone else observe the hundreds of flying objects over Maryland on January 1, 2008, around 10pm? My wife and I were in our hot tub. I looked up and saw what I thought was a satellite, but I then noticed there were many more. We were in the tub for 20-30 minutes and a continuous stream of objects moved from about southeast to northwest the entire time we were outside. All of the objects moved at the same speed, but because they had different light intensities I assume they were at differing altitudes. Some moved in a perfect line of three in a perfectly spaced row, so there is no way they were a natural occurrence. We heard no sound from them, and they all had continuous light intensity (non-blinking).

A commuter jet passed overhead during this period, and it was obvious by the flashing lights and sound that that one object was a jet.

Message: Do you know of any reports of the stephenville ufo’s coming from Texarkana or anywhere else in East Texas? I was in Texarkana that night, and witnessed the ufo. I thought I was crazy but later was confident after I saw all the reports that came out from Stepenville. In short what i saw was a huge shooting start, white light, instantly transformed into this HUGE jelly fish looking thing that sailed effortlessly through the air in a straight constant speed. Then I lost sight of it after a few seconds.

It was moving opposite the low hanging clouds on a relatively clear night, perfect for star gazing. Very profound experience. I’ve officially reported it to none.

Message: Around 7:30 pm I was letting my dog in the house and looking out my glass doors I noticed two lights in the sky.  Moving from the NE direction of the sky towards the SW.  These light continued to move until they were above a large tree in the corner of our lot.  They pulsated, sort of blinked off, then were gone.

My husband also saw these lights and at first thought that it was a helicopter, but when we went outside for a better look, the lights stopped moving and there was no sound to be heard.  They just went out and disappeared.

Message: As my daughter and I were driving into the town where we live, I noticed two very bright lights in the sky over the northwest side of the town, near the baseball field. We thought the lights were very peculiar and so we decided to investigate. As we got closer to the object my daughter noticed it had a red light in the middle of the two white lights in front of the object.

I pulled over and my daughter ran into the house of a friend to get her and her parents to see the object. It appeared to be several hundred feet in the sky and was slowly traveling toward us, which would be east. We all watched as it went above us. I heard a faint humming sound as the craft flew over us. You could clearly see the lights underneath it.

There were several glowing white and red lights, but none of the lights blinked, and the craft seemed to be in some sort of triangular or inverted trapezoid shape. We watched as the craft slowly traveled east, until we could no longer see it. It didn’t look like any aircraft that I had seen or heard of before.
