Shape(s) of UFO(s): orb/light

Color(s) of UFO(s): white

Number of UFO(s): 10

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): West

Further Description of Sighting: My friend and I were driving home from work and noticed what we thought was a large meteor falling from the sky. The meteor was falling for a much longer duration and was significantly larger that I was accustomed to seeing. It looked like a burning fireball travelling at a high speed.

It kept falling and then split into two smaller burning fireballs and continued to fall. Well before it hit the ground each meteor split into two orbs or lights (thus four total) and each light turned and traveled horizontal to the ground. They were no longer falling. We then noticed a fifth and all five were travelling at different speeds to the west.

We watched them fly for several minutes until they got so far we could no longer see them. They did not fly in any formation and appeared to be travelling at different speeds and altitudes. Next we noticed a second fireball that did the exact same thing. There were 10 orbs or lights total travelling in two groups of five towards the west. We watched them for about 5 minutes. The lights were white with no color.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Northeast of Lima

Further Description of Sighting: I live in Lima, Peru. I am watching Discovery Science Channel right now (March 14th 2010, 19:30 hrs)and noticed that they are talking about the strange lights seen over the skies of Kokomo and other places (Texas).

I wish to inform you that my son, his friend and myself saw way up on the sky something that was glowing and sending lights of green, red and white color, similar to the lights of a police car. This happens in a full moon evening in Lima (Northeast direction) at the end of February 2010.

It was a clear night and many regular stars could be seen. Definitively, these lights were not similar to the yellowish or whitish stars (lets say “regular” stars). There were probably two “things”. One relatively closer than the other. Unfortunately, the night became cloudy and lost visibility. Lima sky is usually cloudy. We must wait until the next clear skies (full moon) to see the position where we saw those lights.
