Further Description of Sighting: my brother first saw it and pointed it out to me. it had red and white flashing lights and was moving very slow from the NE to the SW. when it came directly over my house you couldn’t see the object itself, only the lights. and no sound at all. you could tell it was only 1000 to 1500 ft. up and was very large.
i finally got a glimpse of it’s shape when it passed over my house moving from the SE moving to the NE. i ran out in the road to put it between myself and the moon and could see one wing portion and could tell it was triangular shaped. my daughter in law became frightened and ran inside because it was so low that the flashing lights were reflecting off the ground, and there was only a faint rumble sound. you really had to listen hard to hear it.
we saw it the most moving in a NW direction. total sightings were 8 to 10 sightings. i laid out a line on a map between NASA and the military base in Arkansas and it passed right over our location, so i figured it was a stealth bomber using a silent engine i had read that NASA was working on.
only thing is this thing was moving only 50 or 60 mph. and i don’t know if a stealth can fly that slow. or any jet for that matter.
on one sighting it was foggy and when it came from behind the trees it always did that are 500 ft. away it looked like a giant automobile coming through the fog with two extremely large white spotlights like headlights on a car laying two cone shaped light beams extending way out in front of it. haven’t seen it over my house since the end of summer last year.
possibly saw it a few miles to the east a few more times, again bright lights and no sound. don’t know why, but never did take pics of it. would have had to have kept camera on me since we only have a small view of the sky from my front yard.
