Location of Sighting: Looking east from Scottsdale, AZ. It looked like it may have been above Mesa or Gilbert, AZ

Size(s) of UFO(s): Guessing around 30 to 50 ft in diameter

Color(s) of UFO(s): Glowing blue with no other lights

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: Not sure

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Traveled east, then stopped mid flight and ascended upward through the low lying clouds

Further Description of Sighting: My Son, Girlfriend and I left the restaurant ‘Don and Charlie’s’ after dinner and headed to our car parked on the south side of the building. My son pointed toward some airplane’s in the sky which were clearly visible by my girlfriend and I.

I then pointed out another object which I thought was a plane a little further away headed east. But it had no blinking lights of any sort on it. I opened the car door to put my son in his car seat and sorta kept my eye on the object as it headed east.

Just as my girlfriend made a teasing remark at it being a UFO it started to slow down and came to a complete stop and just hovered there. We looked at each other a little confused. My girlfriend then commented about what it was and why it stopped.

She then got in the car while I kept my eye on it. As I looked on, it started climbing straight upward through the clouds. It seemed to move a little away from us, but still climbed upward as if it were navigating through the clouds so to speak.

It got harder to spot as it went through the clouds until we couldn’t see it anymore. I didn’t really give it much too thought as we were in a hurry to get home and watch the Suns Play off game.

The following day, I found myself thinking about what it was. I did a couple searches to see if anyone else spotted anything that night as well, but came up with nothing. Maybe someone else saw it too and could shed some light on what we saw.
