Location of Sighting: hwy 56, between Edgerton and Gardner, KS

Shape(s) of UFO(s): extremely large glowing ball

Color(s) of UFO(s): looked like a full moon with colors

Number of UFO(s): one

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: looked like it would crash in field, than vanished

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): coming downward

Further Description of Sighting: My first thought was it was like the moon coming down in the field, by the huge size(larger than a hot air balloon-only perfectly round) and it was glowing. I thought it was going to crash, but then it vanished.

I never forgot about it, to this day. I was too embarrassed to report it. Was wondering if anyone else ever seen this besides me. I don’t know that it was a weather balloon.

Merriam, Kansas, USA; Summer, 2003

Name: Heidi

Date of Sighting: Summer I believe 2003

Location of Sighting: Merriam, ks

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Triangle

Size(s) of UFO(s): small size craft maybe 600- 1000 feet guess

Color(s) of UFO(s): black

Number of UFO(s): 1

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: about 4 floors above ground level.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): northeast

Further Description of Sighting: I do not know why I am motivated to report this after many years. Some years back. I am positive it was 2003, I saw a triangle UFO flying low when I got off work at around 9pm. I followed it and funny thing is it moved right over my apartment.

I lived in a 3 story building and it was maybe 10 feet or so higher. It was moving slow, had lights going down each side on the underside to where the lights formed a “V” pattern. It was low enough that I can see the light of the lights reflecting off the metal of the craft.

Funny thing about the whole experience is that it made no detectable sound despite it being so low in the sky. I got out of my car as i watched it slowly move behind my building and out of sight.

It was flying way too low to be an aircraft. i was able to see the direct metal of the ship it was that low. I was not scared. I had quite a few sightings in my lifetime, my mother actually claims to be an abductee, but this story sticks out the most.

Message: Lawrence, KS UFO- 1 June 09 @ about 1030pm.

My friend and I were walking down back to my car after dinner that night, and she happend to look up in the night sky and saw three orangish yellow balls of light hovering in the sky. They looked to be around 10,000 feet or so. We had went sky diving earlier that month, so the altitude seemes like a good estimation to me.

The three lights seemed to hover in formation for at least a minute, then the smallest of the lights faded out, soon the second light faded out, finally followed by the largest and brightest ball of light. We were very amazed by what we had seen, and a little scared.

Date: May 22, 2009

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Message: Date of UFO sighting was Friday, May 22, 2009, Time of sighting: 10:22 AM to 10:30 AM

Four adults witnessed a UFO stationary over Wichita, KS area at high altitude possibly above 30,000 ft. It looked like a stationary pinpoint of brilliant white light (magnitude 2.0) like a welding tip with no sounds being emitted from it. The UFO did not move or change color or intensity for eight minutes then just disappeared as if turned off.

The UFO was spotted in the north-north west of Wichita, approx. 30 degrees above the horizon from the witnesses position with the sun at back. Several high altitude jet airliners were flying west bound with vapor trails in the foreground. There were no low clouds only high altitude cirrus and vapor trail remnants.

Those who witnessed had sunglasses on and could see the brilliant light. To see the best view the glasses had to be of the polarized type. This maybe important, you could only see the brilliant pin point of light while wearing sunglasses. Five photos were taken in series with a digital camera (4.1 mega-pixel)and within thirty minutes of the sighting downloaded from the camera.

Guess what, there is no brilliant pin point of light to be seen on any of the five photos taken. Only a single jet airliner with a vapor trail and the corner of the building and roof line show up in the photos that the witnesses were standing next to. Each photo was enlarged and the high altitude jet airliner is clearly visible with good detail, but no brilliant pin point of light (UFO).
