Gardner, Kansas, USA; 1976

Name: Debbie M.

Date of Sighting: early evening 1976 or 1977

Location of Sighting: hwy 56, between Edgerton and Gardner, KS

Shape(s) of UFO(s): extremely large glowing ball

Color(s) of UFO(s): looked like a full moon with colors

Number of UFO(s): one

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: looked like it would crash in field, than vanished

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): coming downward

Further Description of Sighting: My first thought was it was like the moon coming down in the field, by the huge size(larger than a hot air balloon-only perfectly round) and it was glowing. I thought it was going to crash, but then it vanished.

I never forgot about it, to this day. I was too embarrassed to report it. Was wondering if anyone else ever seen this besides me. I don’t know that it was a weather balloon.

Merriam, Kansas, USA; Summer, 2003

Name: Heidi

Date of Sighting: Summer I believe 2003

Location of Sighting: Merriam, ks

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Triangle

Size(s) of UFO(s): small size craft maybe 600- 1000 feet guess

Color(s) of UFO(s): black

Number of UFO(s): 1

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: about 4 floors above ground level.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): northeast

Further Description of Sighting: I do not know why I am motivated to report this after many years. Some years back. I am positive it was 2003, I saw a triangle UFO flying low when I got off work at around 9pm. I followed it and funny thing is it moved right over my apartment.

I lived in a 3 story building and it was maybe 10 feet or so higher. It was moving slow, had lights going down each side on the underside to where the lights formed a “V” pattern. It was low enough that I can see the light of the lights reflecting off the metal of the craft.

Funny thing about the whole experience is that it made no detectable sound despite it being so low in the sky. I got out of my car as i watched it slowly move behind my building and out of sight.

It was flying way too low to be an aircraft. i was able to see the direct metal of the ship it was that low. I was not scared. I had quite a few sightings in my lifetime, my mother actually claims to be an abductee, but this story sticks out the most.

Severy, Kansas, USA; April 11, 2008

Name: Jamie

Location: Severy, Kansas

Date: April, 11, 2008

Message: My husband and our children were driving towards Wichita just outside of Severy Kansas on April 11 2008. It was approximately 9:30 P.M. when a huge greenish blue orb appeared for about 2 seconds. It was headed towards the ground at a fast rate but it disappeared before it hit the ground. Even though it was about a mile away from us, we could tell it was too large to be a shooting star and its color was unlike anything I’d seen in the skies before.
