Further Description of Sighting: I woke my wife (Irene) up and asked her if she was seeing what I was seeing. She was surprised and said yes it is moving in a fast Zig-Zag fashion. We watched it for about half an hour. I have a PhD from the University of California, and my wife was a Nuclear Medicine tech. for the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, Ca. We are both retired and of sound mind.

Location of Event: Over Kahoolawe, HI

Message: This is an old military testing ground and there was a stationary white ball with red lights rotating diagonally. At first I thought it was the first star out, and then after a while the red light started pulsating.

Then someone said it was a plane, but it never moved. It stayed in one spot over NE side of island for over an hour from 8:15 to about 9:39 p.m. and then blinked it was gone.

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: About 10 Miles toward Maua

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): From about 2-3000 feet above the water.

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): None

Further Description of Sighting: Sat stationary in the sky for over 15 minutes. It did not get bigger or smaller and did not move until it moved very fast at a 45-50 degrees into the water.
