Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; May 30, 2010

Name: Eric

Date of Sighting: 05/30/10 4:30am

Location of Sighting: Las Vegas, NV, USA

Shape(s) of UFO(s): two bright lights, as bright as stars one on top of the other. Semi-circle ‘reflection’ on right and left side

Size(s) of UFO(s): hard to determine

Number of UFO(s): 1

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): I saw a plane flying ‘in front’ of UFO in the sky, so I assume the lights I saw were further away. So object was much larger than the plane in the foreground.

Further Description of Sighting: It’s memorial day weekend, when I witnessed the odd lights and shape in the sky, I assumed it was some plane coming in for the air show. After watching said object for 15 or so minutes, I determined it was not moving and completely silent.

I woke my wife to have her look at it, and she agreed it was unique and hard to explain. I should have prefaced this statement by saying I am a skeptic and usually the first to point out that there is a logical explanation for every thing. I’m sure there is one for this as well, but it was unidentified so by definition, it’s a UFO.

I have checked some news sites and searched for someone else viewing this object. This is a 24 hour town and if I was awake and watched it, I’m sure someone else has.

Fernley, Nevada, USA; October 13, 2020

Name: Debra and Mike Bement

Date of Sighting: 10-13-20 8:13 to approx 9:00 pm

Location of Sighting: Fernley

Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): 2 identical crafts

Colors red, green, yellow, orange flashing lights

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: One on west side of town above hills

One was north east of town

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): One in west side traveled toward north till it landed or dipped below hills

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): The one on west side of town was south of the pilot light and moved to the north side of the pilot light

Further Description of Sighting: There were two crafts in the sky that looked identical. Both had flashing lights and hovered and moved up and down, side to side, and the one that was located northeast bobbed around.

We decided to drive near the cemetery to be in the dark part of the city. The one that was located on the west side moved from the south to the north and appeared to either land, or dip below the hills out of sight. It moved a far way in a very short period of time.

Elko, Nevada, USA; June 14, 2008

Name: Tracy

Date of Event: June 14, 2008

Location of Event: Elko, Nevada

Message: Oh my…it’s good to see someone else saw those red lights. We were heading south on 80 when we (5 of us) were heading home…why didn’t we take pictures? The camera mysteriously couldn’t be found…crap! Somebody had to have taken video or a picture. I wish it were me. They (the lights) were too high for tower lights and had nothing around them, you could clearly see clouds behind them, they moved together then dropped and dissappeared.

They did last a very long time…over an hour. Why in the world did no one report this in the newspaper? We did call 911, and yes, they did no there were more calls. Very interesting. I would like to know what they were…or do I? I check out the night sky alot more now!!!

Elko, Nevada, USA; June 14, 2008

Name: marcy

Date of Event: Saturday night, June 14, 2008 around midnight

Location of Event: Elko, Nevada

Message: My husband and I were visiting Elko, NV and decided to take a walk late in the evening. As we walked west, we noticed a woman standing outside one of the Star Hotel restaurant staring at the sky. When we looked up, we saw two small red lights in the sky, near the moon. (According to the almanac, the moon was 86% full and wouldn’t set until 2:13am.)

The two red lights were moving, slowly towards the southwest. The first of the two lights was moving faster than the second one.

As we watched (there was no sound, no airplanes, nothing that could have explained the lights) we met other people who were watching the lights. One of the locals said that he had been watching the two lights for over an hour. He said they had moved from the northwest to the southwest. Everyone was spellbound by the lights.

After a while, the first of the two red lights flared and then slowly dimmed and then it disappeared.

The second light changed course, and headed west before disappearing behind some trees.

We read nothing about it in the local paper, and emails sent to both the newspaper and the police department have not been answered.

My husband is 67 and I am 57. We are both highly educated and intelligent.

This is our first UFO experience. My husband and I are not believers in UFOs but what we saw defies our imagination.

Reno, Nevada, USA; November 20, 2011

Name: Clifford Scott

Date of Sighting: November 20th 2011

Location of Sighting: South end of Palomino Valley, Reno, Nevada

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Oval

Size(s) of UFO(s): unknown

Color(s) of UFO(s): White

Number of UFO(s): one

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: unknown, but within 5 miles

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): An owl and brush in the foreground

Further Description of Sighting: We caught a bright oval object in our wildlife camera at night in 4 different photos over 40 minutes. Couldn’t be the moon because the camera was pointed NNE, and the object moved NNW and didn’t change in altitude. Zooming in on one of the photos, there is series of brighter dots on one edge. Photos included. Let us know what you think. We’re stumped.
