Bruneau, Idaho, USA; August, 2006

Name: Richard

Date of Event: August, 2006

Location of Event: Thirty miles Southeast of Bruneau Idaho at the Juniper Butte Air Force bombing range.

Message: At about 01:00 while prepairing to leave a millitary bombing range, (at which I was part of team of fire and facility maintenance personnal) I was walking out to one of the fire trucks to remove the ignition keys, prior to exiting the facillity for the night.

As I made my way toward the truck, I glanced up at the stars as I usually did, admiring how bright and close they appeard without the affect of reflected light from the city.

It was then that I noticed a large triangular shaped craft, that appeared to have mirrors attached to the bottom of it, moving slowly toward the North (Bennett MTN.)I was struck in awe at the sight of it as it appeared to be translucent with no distinguishing lights or markers that might have indicated regular aircraft.

There were three fighter jets following it at a distance, I could tell they were fighters by their sound and the flashing strobes on the wing tips..
As I was making my way back to the obsercation post, to get the attention of my work mates, the object incresed in speed pulling way ahead of the fighters and dissapeared.

Shortly after its dissapearance, the three millitary fighters, reversed there course, and proceeded in a Westerly course returning to M.H.A.F.B.

Nampa, Idaho, USA; May 24, 2008

Name: Sean

Date of Event: 05/24/2008

Location of Event: Centenniel Golf Course, Nampa, ID

Message: At about 2:30 pm Mountain time, my two buddies and I were golfing at Centenniel.  This UFO looked like a red plane.  puddle jumper or two seater type plane, not a 747.  BUT, it was pointing straight up in the air, just hovering.  I estimate it was 10,000 feet in the air.  Higher than the top of the local mountains, but not as high as a commercial jet.  There is an small-plane airport nearby, so we’re used to seeing the planes coming in and out of there… but this was not one of those planes.  It was gone after we watched it for about 15 minutes.

Boise, Idaho, USA; July 18, 2011

Name: rod

Date of Sighting: 18 July 2011

Location of Sighting: Boise, Idaho, Ada County, Greenbelt

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Trangle

Size(s) of UFO(s): Small Jet

Color(s) of UFO(s): Dark Grey or Flat Black

Number of UFO(s): 01

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: 15,000 feet to 2,000 feet

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): NW then SW

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): Clock tower 2,500 feet away and Boise River 500 feet away.

Further Description of Sighting: I was on a night bike ride following the Boise River headed west. At 2300 hours I stopped at a bridge to take a breather, I noticed an aircraft with a triangular shaped light pattern; the lights were white in color and did no flicker. The altitude of the aircraft seemed to be about 15,000 feet based on movement and relative size. The AC seemed to be descending at a NW direction at a 45 degree angle; it then stopped and headed SW at another 45 degree angle in my direction. As it approached and got closer, I noticed that it did not have the typical red and blue strobe smack lights or directional indicator light that is required by the FAA. By this time it descended to about 2,000 feet. I thought it was odd that it was on approach toward the ground since there is no free airspace for landing. At this point I thought it was a reconnaissance plane or a government aircraft and I went on my way.

About 15 minutes later I was returning from my trip crossing the same bridge and an older couple on bikes stopped me and asked me if I saw the same aircraft. The man quickly asked me then stated he and his wife saw it come on approach then come to a standing hover about 1,000 feet in the air, over a lake next to the river trail, and next to a clock tower. He then stated in a rather shook up tone that he and his wife then saw it completely disappear, not just shut off the lights but literally vanish. He said, “I think it was a UFO, no I am certain it was a UFO!” He gave the same description and saw the same vector as I did just from a different angle. He was coming from a grocery store north of the bridge.

I told him I saw it too but shrugged it off as some sort of air craft, knowing deep inside that I kind of thought the same thing; I just didn’t want my imagination to run away with the idea. I have to say now that I had another verified witness and I watched most of the decent, that I think it was one too. One thing that I noticed was it’s odd light arrangement and the color, dark grey it moved in a rather strange pattern as if it were no propelled by lift or jet propulsion; due to its complete lack of engine noise, it simply just changed course. An aircraft of that size, that of a small jet liner should have had some kind of noise associated with it, it also had a smoother tighter angle of decent.

At that point I realized the man was still carrying on about his sighting, I interrupted him mid sentence, partly because I was creeped out by the thought of seeing something so strange but, also because he was so concerned and disturbed with his sighting. The wife seemed to be in shock. I told him I was going to go have another look for myself, the whole time thinking crap, how am I going to get home? As a departed he called out, “Hey, wait a minute weren’t you listening there is a UFO over there you should go the other way!” He was right I was stupid to head in that direction but I had to get home. When I arrived at a good vantage point, I carefully looked at the sight but there wasn’t anything there, or at least nothing I could see. So I headed home – the whole time I kept glancing back and looking for any traces of the craft in the sky. Man what a night!

Boise, Idaho, USA; December, 2007

Name: Heidi

Date of Sighting: Late December, 2007

Location of Sighting: Near Cloverdale and Lake Hazel, Boise, Idaho, USA

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Unknown

Size(s) of UFO(s): 20 feet across..?

Color(s) of UFO(s): Only saw lights

Number of UFO(s): 1

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: 40-60 feet above ground

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Not Moving

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): Lights

Further Description of Sighting: As I was traveling south on Cloverdale at ~10:00pm late December 2007, I saw what appeared to be stadium lights on the left side of the road. It was unusual because the lights lit up the ground, but I was not able to see the post they were attached to. I thought it possibly was one of those temporary set ups that they have for night-time road construction or something, but there was no construction.

I slowed the truck down and tried to see what the lights were from, but there wasn’t anything there. The lights were very bright like stadium lights (I think there were 2 rows of like 3 lights/row and 2 larger lights on each side of the row ends). Very large. I went to bed thinking it was very strange to the point that the next day when driving by the same area in the daylight, I looked to see what was there, but there wasn’t anything at all.

No telephone line, post, or other large structure. I live just there, so I know it wasn’t right. Anywho, it obviously was very unsettling because 4 years later I still SWEAR that something unusual was there. Maybe not an ‘alien’ UFO, but no other explanation has made sense.
