Buford, Georgia, USA; 2008

Name: Tricia

Date of Sighting: November/October, at 10:00pm, 2008 or 2009

Location of Sighting: Buford, GA

Shape(s) of UFO(s): Orb

Size(s) of UFO(s): Around the size of the moon in the sky from my view

Color(s) of UFO(s): Bright orange, like the harvest moon

Number of UFO(s): One

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: Less than a mile, like I said, it was roughly the size of the moon from my point of view

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Roughly, the west

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): Some stars in sky

Further Description of Sighting: At first, it did appear to be the moon, but when I kept looking at it, I quickly realized it was something else entirely. It started to move as I watched it, slowly at first, until it moved halfway across the sky, I barely noticed it was moving, so mesmerized was I by the “moon’s” beautiful color. When I noticed it moved, it quickly glided halfway back to its starting point, to the left, and then speeded off towards the west, almost like it flashed and disappeared, it was that fast. It moved like nothing I had ever seen.

Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; June 7, 2010

Name: Hal T

Date of Sighting: June 7th 2010, 10:30pm to 11:19pm

Location of Sighting: Alpharetta, GA,USA, NW of hgwy140N

Shape(s) of UFO(s): round with star like brightness

Size(s) of UFO(s): 24 font size “o” in the sky.

Color(s) of UFO(s): Red tinted star light

Number of UFO(s): 1

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: a few inches above the tree line, low on the horizon

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): Zero Motion

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): if “O” represented the size; 8 font size to a bright star compared to the object would be 24 font size

Further Description of Sighting: Starting at 10:30PM, on June 7th 2010 in Alpharetta, GA, two of us residents spotted a bright, red star in the NW direction. The object was apparently a star: it shined, was a round dot, and did not move at all. Unlike other stars, it had a slight red tint, prompting us to think it’s Mars, but it wasn’t.

It shone brighter than any other star considerably, making us think it may be the north star, which it was nowhere near. It was at least ten times as bright as the north star. It also twinkled like a star, no apparent rhythm, but was brighter. Through binoculars, it looked jut like a star, but a lot larger.

We thought it may be a close satellite or the ISS, but it was not moving. We watched it for about 45 minutes, from three different locations, and kept it in constant sight for half an hour uninterrupted. Aside from being low on the horizon NW, very bright, and slightly red tinted, it looked and acted just like a star.

We have 5 minutes of footage, though it is just a barely discernible dot on the horizon due to the darkness and camera. We left as it wasn’t moving, and we thought we could go to a higher vantage point with a better camera. One of us forgot a blanket at one of the locations we spent the most time in, and when we went back to get it, it was completely gone.

There was no trace of it, the patch of sky it occupied was now blank. With this, we were both lead to the conclusion that this unmoving object was no plane, heli, or satellite, and since it disappeared, it was no celestial body. We realized we forgot the blanket no more than a minute after we left, and it was completely gone when we came back.

If it were a very slow moving object, leading us to perceive it as stationary, it could not have moved enough to disappear from our line of sight in one minute. My biggest regret is I missed the disappearing act while trying to get a better vantage point ;(

Marietta, Georgia, USA; Summer 2011

Name: Kelle

Date of Sighting: Summer 2011

Location of Sighting: 1/2 mile from Dobbins AFB Marietta GA

Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): 1 craft, shaped like equilateral triangle, dull silver underside.

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: About 200 feet above 80 foot tall trees

Further Description of Sighting: 1 craft, shaped like equilateral triangle, dull silver underside. During mid afternoon hours, flying very slowly about 300 feet off the ground, creeping along with blimp like speed. Very large, filled my field of vision above my trees which are about 80 feet tall. Craft was headed toward the runway at Dobbins which is about 1/2 mile from my house. I guess it was rising in altitude as I was seeing it from underneath at an angle with the “nose?” Pointed up.
