Highcliffe, England, UK; Summer, 2017

Name: Adam Scovell

Date of Event: Summer 2017

Location of Event: Highcliffe Park

Message: My name is Adam, I’m 15 and I believe I have seen a UFO. I was with some friends at my local park. It was late, around 11:30.

We were looking at the stars in the sky and suddenly we noticed one was moving. It was too far away to be a plane and the light looked exactly like all the other stars. At first, we thought it was a shooting star. However, all of a sudden it stopped; a red flash was seen next to it then it changed course and headed back across the sky.

This couldn’t of been a plane seeing as planes don’t just stop and go back in the other direction. The height of the object was too great for it to be a drone or helicopter. Therefore, making it unidentifiable.

Union Township, New Jersey, USA; August 23, 2017

Name: John Straley

Date of Sighting: 8/23/2017

Location of Sighting: Union Township, Hunterdon County

Number of UFO(s), including the Color(s), Size(s) and Shape(s): 1 UFO, randomly flashing very brightly, spherical in shape.

Distance of UFO(s) in sky: 5,000 feet

Direction of Travel for UFO(s): appeared out of nowhere and then moved in a southerly direction.

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): I know how planes appear in the night sky, periodically strobing red, green and clear lights at a fixed rate. I also know how low-altitude satellites appear at night, usually traveling from due south to due north, appearing as a “star” as they reflect light off the sun. What I saw was neither a plane or satellite.

Further Description of Sighting: It appeared as a bright white pulse or flash, much stronger than anything I’ve ever seen, save for lightning. This was no “shooting” star. It would drift in an erractic path, periodically pausing and then flash. Not able to see it unless it flashed.

I say its path was erratic only because it flashed often enough to ‘visually’ track it. Eventually, after 2 or 3 minutes, it disappeared. My daughter witnessed the same behavior in the night sky in the same area on July 7, 2017. Could it have been a drone?
