Further Description of Sighting: I just finished watching a romantic comedy and was heading out to smoke a cigarette. I looked to my right and saw right above my tree line (which are 25ft trees) 3 circular lights spaced apart in a horizontal line. Directly underneath the middle light was a slow blinking red light. I watched it as it seemed to drift away and realized the craft wasn’t making a sound!

It very well could have been a military aircraft, since Westhampton, NY has a National reserve air force base there. But their standard aircraft there are the giant grey planes. I spoke with a family member in the AF…they said that they do test flights that shut off engines for landing. But in all honesty, why would a military airplane fly that low over residential neighborhoods?
