Further Description of Sighting: Two friends and I were sitting in the sand on the beach at the campground. There were fireworks being set off all along the beach but we were looking out over the ocean. I noticed a very bright star in the sky over the horizon that was darker orange than the other stars.

I pointed it out to my friends and they saw it too. A few seconds later, as we were all staring at the star, it slowly faded away before our eyes. We thought it was odd but didn’t think much of it. A few minutes later, I was looking in the same spot the star once was and saw it quickly appear in the sky again. It looked like it had been turned on like a flashlight.

A few more minutes later it faded away again and then reappeared with another one directly next to it. They both faded away one after the other and then reappeared again with a third light. The three lights were in a straight, horizontal line, evenly spaced from each other.

We watched the lights appear and disappear for about ten or fifteen minutes, resembling the lights that measure sound on a baby monitor. There was a group of about 4 or 5 other people on the beach next to us who also saw these lights and had never seen anything like it before. Very creepy!!!
