Further Description of Sighting: A friend and I were standing outside of my house. There is a lot of air traffic in the area and I was taking notice of the 3 or 4 usual stars that are always visible. Off in the distance I saw a very bright yet foggy light that I had never seen before. This light was way biger than any star in the sky and definitely not an airplace or a helicopter. It was standing still with a bright triangular shaped light beaming out from under it towards the earth. Then the light sort of faded upwards back towards the bright foggy light and it all disappeared. I have been living at the same house for over 10 years and have never seen anything like it. My friend was so shocked he could only keep his mouth wide open and couldn’t speak a word until after it was gone.
