Location of Sighting: Boutiliers Point, Nova Scotia

Shape(s) of UFO(s) (If Known): Large white cone shaped bright white light in southern sky. It lasted about 30 seconds and then faded away leaving an misty aura for about 30 seconds before finally disappearing.

Size(s) of UFO(s) (If Known): It must havebeen very large as I feel I was viewing from quite a distance away.

Color(s) of UFO(s) (If Known): Very bright neon type white light.

Number of UFO(s) (If Known): 1

Distance of UFO(s) in sky (If Known): There were many stars in the sky. Distance could not be determined.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s) (If Known): The light seemed stationery while I saw it.

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): Very bright starry night. There were no planes or helicopters in the area.

Further Description of Sighting: I was sitting on the front deck of our house on the ocean. It was a beautiful starry night. The sky was lit up by a large cone shaped white light in the south west sky. the light lasted about 30 seconds then started dim. It looked like the source of the light was extinguished but it left a remaining aura for about 15 seconds.I have seen a lot of things in night sky but nothing like this.
