Direction of Travel for UFO(s) (If Known): We could see the bright light. It diminished in size as it moved further and further away from Earth. (Very Quickly)
Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): 2 planes were in the sky with flashing lights.
Further Description of Sighting: My husband and I were observing a very bright light in the sky. It did not travel across the sky.It suddenly moved upwards towards the other stars that are further away from earth. The bright light diminished in size as it travelled further and further away. This was very quick. It looked like the bright light was deliberatly moving away from earth towards the other stars. It eventually was too far away to see.

My wife and I saw this same event from our back yard in south Calgary, we watched the light moving from the west for about a minute, it appeared to rise in the sky as it got closer, then it shot straight up until it disappeared

Me and my friends were saw multiple UFOs on September 11 to September 12
At around 5 in the morning.
One of the ufo was still in the sky and looked like a ball that was emmitting strobe lights with red, green, blue, whie, purple colors and the other one looked like a star magnified x4 and it kept getting bigger and smaller.
The only weird thing is that There is more to be seen on my camera rather than with the naked eye because on the camera i could see quick glimplses of emissions of blue gas all across the sky where the UFOs were seen.
