My wife, my daughter and myself saw what I believe to be the same 2 objects fly over our Pickering home last night just prior to 9:20 PM. Minutes earlier what was clearly a commercial aircraft flew over at high altitude. The two orb like circular objects that followed were very bright and large and easily would have blotted out the commercial aircraft. I said to my wife and daughter, what is that ?”…and repeated the question several times because I really didn’t believe what I was seeing. They moved at a steady not too fast pace across the sky in what I believe was a southwest – northeast direction, one followed by the other in perfect unison, taking about 10 seconds to cross through the sky until they began to grow smaller and seemingly went off into space disappearing from the night sky one after the other about 15 deg from the horizon in the northeast. These 2 objects were then followed by yet another commercial aircraft flying at what appeared to be a much lower altitude.

I was just camping with my girlfriend in Algonquin Park, and we saw the same thing last night while looking up at the stars. It was about 9 or 10 at night and we saw two bright lights moving parallel with one another in the same direction (East). They didn’t blink or make any sounds. They were moving pretty fast. I can’t explain what they were?! Military jets? UFOs?

Walking the dogs with my kid tonight and saw this same phonomenom at 9:41 pm. Travelling roughly west to east with the appearance of a slight arc northward. The first object glowed brighter than the second with what appeared to be a tail, but the tail was probably light reflecting a surface because it was bent towards the north. These came into view about 65° above the horizon from the west-south-west and travelled until disappearing at about 75° above horizon almost directly north. I estimate the time in view at about 15 seconds each, roughly 10 seconds apart. These were not commercial aircraft. Really cool.

If they were part of the space station why would they just disappear like nothing and also same sightings were seen September 9, 2009 around 10pm Eastern Time

    TWO FOR THE SHOW:
SHUTTLE & SPACE STATION TO CROSS OUR LOCAL SKY
ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENINGS SEPT 8 & 9

On Tuesday and Wednesday SEPT 8 & 9 we will have three great opportunities (local weather conditions permitting) to see the Space Shuttle Discovery and the International Space Station flying in
    tandem across our evening sky.

Currently, Discovery is docked to the Space Station, but at 3:27 p.m. on Tuesday SEPT 8, it
will undock from the Station and slowly begin to pull away from it.

On Tuesday, at 7:42 p.m., both Discovery and the Space Station will rise above the SSW horizon and will track toward the ENE.  They will appear as two bright moving “stars.”
Discovery will appear to lead the Space Station across the sky. The Space Station, however, should appear as the brighter of the two objects. They will be separated by
roughly 5 or 6 degrees; your clenched fist held at arm’s length measures roughly
10-degrees, so the Shuttle and Space Station will be separated by about a “half fist”
as they move across the sky.  At their highest point, they will stand 33-degrees above
the SE horizon and at 7:44:30, as an added bonus, they will pass directly above theplanet Jupiter. This pass should take 5 minutes 17-seconds from start to finish.

Also on Tuesday evening, a SECOND pass will begin at 9:18 p.m.  Discovery and the
Space Station will appear a little farther apart.  They will rise above the W horizon
and will track toward the NNW.  After 2 minutes 29 seconds, however, they will
rapidly fade out, 25-degrees above the horizon, as they pass into the Earth’s
    shadow.

On Wednesday SEPT 9, comes the third and final double pass.  The two space vehicles will
be much farther apart . . . the Shuttle will lead the ISS  by about one minute.
Watch for Discovery at 8:05 p.m. rising above the WSW horizon, moving toward
the NE; the Space Station will follow along the same track about a minute later.
At their highest point, they will stand 64-degrees above the NW horizon.
This pass should take 5 minutes 42-seconds from start to finish.

Discovery is scheduled to return to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida next Thursday SEPT 10
    at 7:06 p.m.

I was walking with my dog that night around 9:30 pm, I saw two bright lights just on the top of my building, maybe 500 meters or more but to low to be an airplane, the first light was small and bright like a small star and the other light was bigger and white bright, the smallest one was in front in direction west to east and the bigger one was behind making a line between those.
    I am in Burlington, ON
