Distance of UFO(s) in sky (If Known): Above the mountain range … in the sky, but definitely not as high as the stars – over this same mountain range was dry summer lightening flashing.

Direction of Travel for UFO(s) (If Known): South to North

Other Known Object(s) (For possible reference, or contrast): I did see Satellites in the sky and a passing airplane, but this was definitely neither.

Further Description of Sighting: I was lying in bed at approx. 11:20 p.m. and could not sleep. I was looking out the bedroom window from bed (3 feet away) when I thought I was seeing a falling star. Bright light came shooting across view of window, south to north direction.

However, instead of burning out or fading away, it stopped and seemed to bounce, bouncing left and then to the right. Then it seemed to stop in one area, and it was almost as though it was spinning becuase the lights seemed to get brighter, fade a bit, brighter, then it flashed red and green or blue lights, then back to clear bright light.

I moved closer to the window and watched it hover for about 15 minutes in one area. During this time there was dry lightening over that one certain mountain range it was hovering over.

I then turned around to wake up my son to see what I was watching, and when I turned around again the object moved again, shot a short distance left, then it got smaller and disappeared … I continued to watch that area hoping it would come back, but it didn’t. I know what an airplane looks like at night, I know what stars look like at night, as well as satellites … this object was DEFINITELY neither.
